Annie Scott, Registered Dietitian.  Annie Scott has been working for Imperial Beach Community Clinic since 2007.  Struggling with her own weight as a teenager, she is now able to help clients eat healthily, and reach their desired weight with individual counseling sessions and group classes.  


Individual Counseling Sessions help patients set achievable goals and manage whatever they are struggling with the most: weight, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or other diet related issues. Clients are encouraged to bring family and friends to visits to continue to get the most support to reach their goals!

Nutrition and Weight Loss Workshops: Annie Scott, R.D. and Cesar Gonzalez, Behaviorist, teach Nutrition and Weight Loss classes at Imperial Beach Health Center and Nestor Community Health Center.  They cover reading food labels, stress and eating, diabetes and sugar, and much more. Classes are held at Imperial Beach Health Center on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30pm – 6:30pm and at Nestor Community Clinic on Tuesdays from 10:30 – 11:30 am. These free classes are bilingual in English and Spanish, and are open to the community.

Community Nutrition and Wellness Talks: Annie also gives Healthy Eating and Wellness talks at a variety of community events and classes. She has taught classes at Imperial Beach Senior Center, Mar Vista High School, Reach out for Families, preschools, local churches, Maria Sardinas Recovery Center, Children’s Hospital and more.
